ABOUT

Entering its fourth edition, AI x HK OpenCup (the OpenCup) engenders an innovation platform empowering young talents to address global challenges and social development through cutting-edge technologies. As AI-driven robotics technologies continue to evolve, it opens up endless possibilities. This year, the OpenCup 2025 centres on AI & Robotics for Sustainability, featuring immersive workshops and a 2D robotics football tournament, where students train AI agents and compete in matches.

The one-day bootcamp aims to equip Hong Kong secondary school students with fundamental skills in AI-driven simulations. Participants will not only explore the realm of reinforcement learning agents through hands-on experience but will also be encouraged to generate innovative solutions to tackle real-world challenges.

Organised by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), hosted by HKBU Department of Computer Science and supported by NVIDIA, the OpenCup 2025 is dedicated to harnessing the power of innovation and technology, fostering a culture of innovative thinking, and driving positive changes in our community. Our mission is to inspire and nurture the next generation of tech leaders in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) outlined by the United Nations.
